What is the most recent item that you've added to your workspace?

I recently got the Apple MacBook Pro M2 Max 32GB 1 TB SSD and it has supercharged my workflow.

What is one change you'd like to make to your current workspace?

I wish I had a larger room for my workspace and one more window to get way more light into my space.

What does your typical day look like?

A typical day would start with a 20 minute exercise routine before work. I’d have breakfast while reading a book or watching a few videos on topics that interest me outside of work. At around 9 I’d start work. I would generally start by reviewing any pending MRs from the team for about an hour, then I’d pickup any new Jira tickets to tackle or continue with whatever I was already working on previously. Than I’d have standup with the team and depending on the day perform other team rituals. I’d end the work day with a review session and write anything that was interesting to me into my engineering daybook that lives in Obsidian. The rest of the day would be spent with with my family, teaching my 3 year old boy something new and doing any one of my other hobbies, like photography, drawing, listening to music or reading.

What do you enjoy most about WFH life?

Having more time to spend with my family and doing the things I love which helps me actually refuel and do my work better. Having less stress because of traffic and just having the freedom to work from wherever I want whilst being productive.
