What is the most recent item that you've added to your workspace?
I'm a huge fan of the Oakywood products. Recently I've added the modular drawer and the desk mat. Both are a perfect fit for my desk style. The contract of pure white with oak wood is very relaxing and I feel the contact with the nature.
How do you spark creativity?
I love creating after dinner, with the quiet of the night. I usually tune some Lo-Fi playlists from Spotify to create a relaxing moment for my brain and I start to create. Some evenings might be a script for a new YouTube video, some others could be the slides for a public talk I have in my head for a while, other times I just take out a book and I learn something new. In the past months I invested time reading about how to spark creativity. Two books I highly recommend are:
The Creative Act
The Artist's Way
But creativity for me is a state of mind that follows me for the entire day. Therefore I am using a second brain in Notion that helps to gather everything that inspires me from social media or online researches and what I read or learn listening to a podcast. If you want to learn more about the second brain, watch this video I made where I describe how I've embedded inside my day.
