Inside Lesley's Workspace
The burger is a coaster set (which I love and bought in Bangkok), the cup (which I made and also love) is placed on the tomato coaster.
The origami backpack and stars are made together with my 6 year-old niece. We make lots of origami together.
What is the most useful item in your workspace?
I love my adjustable desk. I can't sit for too long, so being able to go up and down throughout the day is a life saver for my back.
How do you spark creativity?
Turning on my desk light and some lo-fi on YouTube gets me ready for work.
How do you manage work-life balance?
I often end up working at night, so on top of that, I only work in the mornings or afternoons. For example, I might work in the morning and night on Monday, afternoon and night on Tuesday, and morning and afternoon on Wednesday.
What do you think is the main benefit of remote work?
Being flexible about when you work. Being able to work with people from all over the world. Getting good at text communication to ensure everyone is on the same page even when you're working in different timezones and countries.
