How do you spark creativity?
I don’t try to force creativity. It’s all about input = output. I focus on consuming the right things—whether that’s design, film, art, music or just life itself. The more diverse my influences, the more creative I get. But curating what I take in is just as important. It’s something you have to develop over time. When I do this, I see my taste constantly evolving in everything. What I liked a year ago doesn’t always resonate with me now. That’s what keeps things fresh and exciting.
What does your typical day look like?
I like to keep my days disciplined and focused on things that truly matter—for me and the people close to me. My mornings start with the gym, followed by breakfast with my family, which is non-negotiable. Then, I head to my office, and the first thing I do is clean up and water the plants. It helps set the mood. The first 30 minutes are all about warming up—checking out inspiration, catching up on what’s new, and responding to emails and feedback. After that, I turn off notifications and get into my to-do list. Sometimes, I go out or take a night ride to reflect on the day and think about what’s next.
What is the most useful item in your workspace?
My job is mostly digital, so there isn’t a single physical item that I rely on—honestly, a pen and paper can do just as much as anything else. But if I had to pick something, I'd say lighting. It sets the mood for everything. Being able to adjust the temperature and color based on what I need is a game-changer. If I need to focus, I go for cooler tones. If I need a boost in the morning, I use warmer, energizing light. Also, simple to-do list notes help keep me on track.
