4 questions› What is the most recent item that you've added to your workspace?
A new laptop as my startup just got acquired by Stripe.
› How do you spark creativity?
Time away from the computer. Taking walks in the woods behind my house, going to the beach, a drive in my car, playing with my kids, etc.
› What does your typical day look like?
Being a co-founder/CTO of a startup means that no two days are the same. You wear a lot of different hats depending on the circumstances. Generally I do development/management work in the morning, with meetings in the afternoon. I then spend a couple of hours with the family in the evening, before sitting down to chill out for a bit before bed.
› What do you envision changing with your day to day following the Stripe acquisition?
The biggest immediate difference is lots more meetings and speaking to a much wider range of people every week. However, being employed brings with it less intensity and a bit more freedom in the evenings and weekends.
