Inside Patricia's Workspace

Workspace Items

What is the most useful item in your workspace?

I do a lot of research and reading on my computer, so my studio display makes that experience very enjoyable and accessible. The beautiful design and crispness of the display genuinely encourages me to do good work.

What does your typical daily routine look like?

I wake up around 6am and immediately use the bathroom and make myself a cup of coffee. While I'm in a dreamlike state, I sit for meditation for about 30 minutes. I find this gives me deeper access to the self beneath my thinking mind. Before I dive into wordly work, i'll want to do some activity that enables me to get in touch with myself - whether that's journaling, yoga, or reading spiritual texts. Then I'll feel into what feels the most energizing to do for the morning and do that until 11am. Then around 12pm I'll go to The Commons and meet with my co-founder and have a working session together. Around late afternoon I do strength training, followed by dinner. In the evening, we always have some kind of salon, circle, or workshop going on at the space - so i'll attend those and meet with interesting curious souls to share ideas and learn more about what's exciting them.
