The most recent addition is actually my Oakywood desk. There were a bunch of reasons I went with it, but a big one was that I could customize it to fit my needs.

I made sure it was wide enough to fit my piano keyboard underneath, so I could save more space in the room, and I also wanted a standing desk. It's super practical, and I've been loving it.

Actually, there are a few things I'd like to change. One is swapping out my UAD Volt 2 audio interface for a rack interface with more inputs.

Right now, it looks a bit empty on the desk. I'd also love to replace my old IKEA chair with something more ergonomic.

I actually don't spend time here in the mornings, this space is only for music. I like to keep work and personal time separate, so when I finish my work day,
I move over here, and the first thing I do is turn on my speakers and put some music on.

Since I moved into this apartment, I've been really happy to finally have two separate spaces, one for work and one just for music. It makes it so much easier to actually switch off after work.

One thing that actually works for me is cleaning up my desk every evening before I leave. That way, when I sit down the next day, everything's ready, and I can just get straight into it.

SessionWire is probably the most underrated tool I use. Since not all my friends live in the same city, it lets us do remote music sessions together without any hassle. It would be really complicated to make it work without it.

I use an Oakywood desk. I actually already had one from them for my coding setup, and I absolutely love it.

The quality is outstanding, real wood, stainless steel legs, and it has a perfect cable management tray, which solved the biggest problem I had with both of my setups.

Honestly, one of the best investments I've made for my workspace.
