About

Vadim Carazan is a brand designer with over 14 years of experience in logos and brand identity.

He is the founder of WeGrow, a small branding studio working with B2B and AI companies. He is also the founder of NineDays, a fixed-price 9-day brand sprint.

He started with $50 logo contests, grew through daily posting on Dribbble where he gained 82k followers, and now builds his own AI design tools on the side.

His home office is based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, in a house he spent a year building.

› What is the most recent item that you've added to your workspace?

More design books. Always more design books.

› What is one change you'd like to make to your current workspace?

None, and that's a first. This is the first workspace I absolutely love working from. For years my habit was drifting to the couch with the laptop, now that happens only occasionally.

› What is one item in your workspace under $100 that everyone should consider adding?

A sketchbook and a pencil you keep open next to the keyboard. Cheapest tool on the desk, does the most work.

› Walk us through your morning routine. What’s the first thing you do at your desk?

It starts before the desk, a long walk with my two dogs. That's where the real thinking happens. Then a coffee from the La Marzocco, my newest acquisition and the most loved corner of the house. By the time I sit down I know what I'm doing, so the first thing is just starting.

› What’s one productivity trick that actually works for you?

When I catch myself doing the same task a third time, I stop and build a small tool for it. Costs an evening, pays back forever.

› What’s the most underrated app or tool you use every day?

Claude. We never generate logos or vectors with it, I use it to build my own instruments, a pattern generator, a mosaic portrait tool, a video tool for case studies. The AI builds the instrument, the taste stays ours.
