What is the most useful item in your workspace?
I'm especially fond of my Keychron K2 keyboard. I'm not a hge mechanical keyboard guy but love how it looks and sounds.
How do you spark creativity?
Getting away from my laptop. A lot of the time this involves getting outside. Changing my view and perspective from my screen to something new -- that could be going for a walk, or working out, or playing with my daughter (she is quite creative herself!)
How do you manage work-life balance?
Thankfully I work at an awesome company that not only values it, they also encourage it. I'm thankful that as hard as I work, I can also play and rest as well when it is time. You can't do your best work when you are tired and burned out.
What do you think is the main benefit of remote work?
Flexibility. Remote work allows me to be a better parent and spouse. I can move things around and prioritize life and work together. I also save 2 hours of commute time every day - 10 hours per week that I can then put into time with my family, exercise, and other life responsibilities. Plus the added bonus of working in the comfort of my own space, free of distractions (with the occasional exception of my puppy :) )
