Subham Bhattacharjee

Full-Stack Software Engineer living in Bengaluru, India

Subham Bhattacharjee is a full-stack software engineer and the founder of Zucini.

Zucini is an app that helps you get AI-powered food recipes that are tailored to your cravings, pantry, and fitness goals. Simply enter your goals and preferences, take a picture of your pantry, talk to your AI chef, and cook something delicious.

When he's not working or building companies, he's a self-taught photographer who enjoys telling stories through photos and environment.

Subham's workspace is tucked into a cozy cubicle near his living room.

After setting up the essentials like a TV, music system, and reading area, he had a bit of space left, so he built out a dedicated nook designed specifically for work. The cubicle not only helps him focus but also doubles as a quiet meeting room.

His entire setup, from the cubicle structure to the placement of his tools, is designed for him. He believes in building his environment to fit his needs, rather than adapting to what’s actually available.

What is the most recent item that you've added to your workspace?

❝

My BMW’s old steering wheel. It fit the space perfectly, so I kept it!

What is one change you'd like to make to your current workspace?

❝

I'd like to add a monitor light to help reduce eye strain.

How do you spark creativity?

❝

I don’t force it, it comes when it’s ready.

What does your typical day look like?

❝

Morning walk/stretch, tea, work, reading, lunch, more work, nap (if I’m lucky), gym, dinner, and either a night drive or walk.

What do you enjoy most about WFH life?

❝

The flexibility and freedom. I've been remote for over 5 years, avoiding rush hour is a big win, and I love being able to work from anywhere.
