Raheemat Atata (A.K.A "Rae") is a product designer, content creator, and YouTuber.

She is passionate about solving problems by building usable products for humans. In her free time, she posts design content on her YouTube channel and her various social media platforms. She also mentors budding designers who are just getting started in the field.

My favorite item in my workspace is my Monitor because it allows me to see my designs clearly and I can also work on multiple tasks at the same time.

› How do you spark creativity?

Writing things down and listening to music helps my creativity to flow via the pen.

› What are some day to day tools for your product design and YouTube work?

I haven't been able to totally achieve work-life balance, but one thing I've started doing in the past few months has helped: I go to the gym by 5 p.m., and I set alarms to remind me to leave work for the day and head to the gym. I just grab dinner when I get home from the gym, so I can get a good night's sleep. I used to have trouble sleeping at night, but ever since I began that habit, it has significantly improved my sleeping.
